Fire In a Residence

Saturday, March 14, 2015   At 1935hrs Station 31 was dispatched to an address on Kingsberry Dr. for a smoke condition. Station 44 and Engine 31 responded. Crews found that an ember from the fire place had burnt through the floor boards and that fire was between the 1st floor and basement. Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the structure with minor damage to the residence. 



1st Alarm into Kendall Park

Tuesday, March 10, 2015   At 2249hrs, Station 31 was dispatched into Kendall Park (South Brunswick) for the 1st alarm structure fire on Rt. 27. Engine 31 responded 3rd due behind Kendall Park's Truck and Assisted in extinguishing the fire and searches of the fire building. 



3rd Alarm in District 3

Friday, March 6, 2015  At 1957hrs Station 31 was dispatched into District 3 for a structure fire on Easton Ave. Truck 31 responded and went into Aeriel operations. Utilizing the master stream, Truck 31 extinguished the fire with Ladder 25 (Community) and Tower Ladder 26 (Eliz Ave).

Mutual Aid into District 3

Thursday, March 5, 2015   At 1426hrs Station 31 was requested into District 3 for a Structure Fire. Squad 31 responded and assisted crews with overhual of the fire. 



Early Morning Car Fire

Sunday, February 22, 2015   At 0718hrs, Stations 31 and 44 were dispatched to Hempstead Dr. for a reported car fire. Engine 31 responded reported a working car fire. Crews from Engine 31 and Engine 441 extinguished the fire without incident. 



Cover Assignment into North Brunswick

Wednesday, February 18, 2015  At 1512hrs, Station 31 was requested into North Brunswick to stand by at North Brunswick Company 3's house while they operated on a structure fire. Engine 31 responded and stood by until being released by command. 



Cover Assignment into South Brunswick

Tuesday, January 6, 2015   At 2318hrs, Station 31 was dispatched into South Brunswick to Station 20 (Monmouth Jct.) to cover the town while they operated on a structure fire. Truck 31 responded and stood by until being released by command. 



Chimney Fire in First Due

Monday, January 5, 2015   At. Approximately 1900hrs, Station 31 was dispatched to an address of Hillview Ave for a report of a chimney fire. Car 31, Squad 31 responded. Engine 31 cleared a previous call and responded. Upon arrival Car 31 found fire showing on the exterior of the structure by the chimney. Crews extinguished the fire utilizing a handline off Squad 31. Engine 31's crew checked for extension inside the residence. Crews from Station 35 and 41 assisted with opening up the exterior of the structure to extinguish hot spots. Once hot spots were extinguished the scene was turned over to Franklin Twp. Fire Prevention Dept. for investigation. Stations 31, 35 and 41 responded. 



Rigging for Rescue

Saturday, May 3, 2014   On Saturday May 3rd, Station 31 along with Station 41 participated in a High Angle Rigging for Rescue class. All member from both Departments did a great job and learned a lot from this class. Special Thank You to the instructors from Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy for teaching the course!



Animal Rescue

Friday, May 2, 2014   At Approximately 0854hrs, Station 31 was requested for Truck 31 to respond to Village Dr. to assist Animal Control Officers. Truck 31 responded and utilized ground ladders for Animal Control Officers to rescue baby Raccoons from a tree. All Raccoons were rescued safely.
